Our 4-year-old program is designed to encourage your child’s
wonderful and enthusiastic natural curiosity of the world around
them. Our goal is to offer a balanced, multifaceted program that is
sensitive to the needs and abilities of each child in the five
area’s of development: spiritual, physical, social, emotional and
cognitive. Because 4-year-olds are rapidly learning language, we
include many communication activities that encourage them to
experiment with language as they try out new words and phrases. By
exposing your child to letters, numbers, and the written language,
our emphasis is on experiencing the art of communication in a fun
non-pressured atmosphere. We awaken their interest and open the
doors to thinking and learning. We believe in learning by doing. While the goals of the 2 and 3 day programs are the same, the 3 day program offers more exposure to the same academic activities simply because it adds approximately 30 extra days to the preschool year. If the objective for your child’s preschool experience is academic, I would recommend the 3 day program. If you prefer to focus more on the social development of your child, the 2 day program may be for you. |
