Nominating Committee Moves Forward for 2009 The Nominating Committee is beginning to look for candidates to serve on Church Council and committees for 2009. Over the next several weeks, you will be given opportunities to volunteer or nominate individuals who you believe can provide us with leadership during a very critical year. An information booth will be available at the Grace in Action event on November 9th to provide you with further information and a box will be on the table at the back of the church for you to place names, including your own, if you are interested. Currently, there are 6 positions up for election: President, Vice-President, Secretary (1 year terms) and three (3) council positions (3 year terms). A word of caution! If you are interested in being considered for the Call Committee, the council has voted to exclude council members from consideration. This will include anyone nominated for council, but not those who agree to serve on committees. For further information, please contact the church office at 465-0779.
